Noi Bai International Airport
Noi Bai International Airport is the biggest airport in the whole country which serves people in Ha Noi and most Northern provinces also. Moreover, this airport is the main running-center of Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Pacific Airlines, Air Mekong and Indochina Airlines.
Tan Son Nhat International Airport
Tan Son Nhat International Airport- a Southern aviation port that serves the highest number of tourists in Vietnam (about 20 million per year). It was built in 1930 in Tan Son Nhat Village, Go Vap District, Gia Dinh Province, just 8 kilometers to the north of Ho Chi Minh center. These days, it is located in Tan Binh District and becomes an essential gateway to transportation for the whole Southern area.
Cam Ranh International Airport
Cam Ranh International Airport was built by the American military for military purposes during the Vietnamese war. Afterwards, it was under control of Vietnam and used for military purposes. Until 2004, this airport became a civilian airport. Nha Trang Airport is located in the city center, which has disadvantages of surface area and security, so Cam Ranh International Airport is used to serve statesmen of Khanh Hoa Province and other South Central Provinces as well.
Cam Ranh International Airport is situated on Cam Ranh peninsula, Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province which is 35 kilometers to the north of Nha Trang City and 10 kilometers to the south of Cam Ranh City.
Da Nang International Airport
Da Nang International Airport was built in 1940. It is the third biggest airport in Vietnam after Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat. The airport is located in Hai Chau District, just 3 kilometers from Da Nang City center. Previously, it was managed by Central Airport Company. Now it belongs to Vietnam Airport, a company of Ministry of Transport.
At present, there are 4 interior airlines and 12 international ones that operating at Da Nang International Airport such as Asia Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Korean Airlines, Dragon Air, Air Macau, Lao Airlines, SkillAir and Vietnam Airlines.
Phu Bai International Airport in Hue
Phu Bai International Airport was built at the colony time of French. The French built it to support Hue Citadel. It is located in the south of Hue City, 15 kilometers from the city center. According to the prime minister's decision, from the 16th of August, 2007, Phu Bai International Airport became the fourth international airport of Vietnam serving Thua Thien Hue Province.
Phu Quoc International Airport
Phu Quoc International Airport is located in Duong To Commune. Phu Quoc Island in Kien Giang Province, 5 kilometers to the south of Duong To town center. Phu Quoc aviation port is an international gateway to Phu Quoc island, Southern Seas, and the Mekong Delta.
At present, it has from/to-airlines of Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Jetstar Pacific Airlines and some foreign airlines that rent flights.
